Disadvantage:
- High Drug Use, and High welfare and unemployment at least in the east TN, with many folks just milking the government and down right lazy and not wanting to be an active worker in society.
Advantage:
- Many Natural Resources and a abundance of edible plants and large amounts of wildlife.
Large game including:
deer, turkey, lots of small game throughout State.
deer, turkey, black bear, hog, and even a small population of elk (200+ now), all in the Eastern TN area.
Disadvantage:
-if you have allot of seasonal allergies TN can make things worse, if your in the middle TN area its like a giant bowel with not allot air allowing sufficient pollen, ragweed, and common allergy issues to blow out of the area. The eastern TN area I believe is better though. If your an allergy sufferer like me, it might be good to be religious with the "Netti Pot", similar to what the Indians used back in the day.
Advantage:
- least expensive state to live in the USA and ranks top six for the least tax burden.
Advantage:
- Gun Freedom and High Self Defense across the state, allowing anyone over 18 to purchase a rifle or shotgun and anyone over 21 passing sufficient background check to buy a pistol. Tennessee remains a “shall issue” state for concealed carry and open carry is permitted with a license.
-Under the "true man" doctrine allowing the freedoms to remain to the individual and/or landowner. Individual has right to attack and protect property rather than flee, the right to attack and disable or kill the assailant is fully permitted by the law.
